I'll Marry you

About Us

I specialize couples who:

  • May not belong to a church, synagogue or other religious organization, or whose family minister is not available for their wedding date, or is unwilling to travel to their wedding location.

  • Want a customized personal wedding ceremony that fits their beliefs or time issues.

  • Are of different faiths and want to blend the wedding customs of their faiths or prefer a neutral spiritual wedding ceremony.

  • Want a civil/secular wedding ceremony with no reference to religion.

  • Are divorced or belong to a church that does not accept their lifestyle.

  • Want to include their children and/or their parents in their wedding ceremony.

  • Have a non-traditional wedding location or are of the same sex.

  • Would like to incorporate their personal stories into their wedding ceremony.

How it Works:

Here is what you can expect from me … It's really very simple.
First and very important, YOU must get the license, you will need the wedding couple and one witness over the age of 18.

·                                 You select the ceremony
You have several options … Use my contact form and briefly explain the type of ceremony you are looking for, the circumstances defining your search, and I will do my best to find the most appropriate ceremony.

·                                 Reserving your date
A deposit is required to reserve your date. For deposits, I accept personal checks, traveler’s checks, money orders, cash, PayPal, and certified funds. Once I've received your deposit, your date will be reserved. If you paid by check your date will be reserved when your check clears. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, should your wedding not take place, for any reason.

·                                 Communications
When I receive your e-mail with the ceremony selection and your deposit, I will take a closer look at your choice as to what you are looking for in a ceremony. If your ceremony needs a little tweaking … working together, I am confident that we will design the perfect ceremony for your wedding.

·                                 Balance due
The balance of the predetermined Officiating fee is due no later than two weeks prior to your wedding date. If payment is not received by this time . . . your reservation will be considered cancelled and the date becomes available for new bookings.

·                                 Wedding Rehearsal
If available … I’ll gladly attend your rehearsal, for a fee. Having us there is not required, but strongly recommended. Experience tells me, ceremonies run smoother, when all participating parties know exactly what to expect. On your wedding day … No surprise is a good surprise!

·                                 Your wedding day
Unless otherwise arranged … I will arrive at the wedding site approximately 30 minutes prior the scheduled start time. Upon my arrival, I will check in with the Groom and the wedding coordinator (if you've hired one), or other designee, and I will be available to assist you, with any last minute details.

·                                 Marriage License and Rings
I will need to collect the marriage license prior to the start of the ceremony. I will also need to be informed of who the witness(s) will be. I will need to have the designated witness(s) sign the marriage license, prior to the ceremony. I will also need to know who will have the rings. I would like to see the rings prior to the ceremony, as well as bestow my blessing on them.

·                                 Official Filing of your marriage license
I take your marriage license for the official filing to thea local Clerk's Office, or send it through US Mail. We have 5 business days from the signing of the license to have it to the Registrar's Office. You can then call the local municipality approximately two weeks after filing to receive your certificate.
